Who Is The Blessed?

Jesus sends His disciples to look for "people of peace", those who are open, welcoming, and receptive to both them and the message of the Kingdom. These individuals become relational gateways through whom the gospel spreads naturally into wider networks, rather than through forced or scattered efforts. Our role is to discern where God is already at work and partner with those who are ready to receive and multiply that work."So Good!"

Paul calls believers to unity through humble, self-giving love, modeled perfectly by Jesus. True community requires laying down status, power, and rights for others, overcoming fear that resists sacrifice. Trusting God’s promise to restore and exalt, we can love courageously, knowing our lives are secure in Christ and His coming renewal.

When Jesus chose his disciples, He chose them for a reason, and with a purpose. Jesus didn't choose the sorts of disciples that other Rabbi's would normally choose. He chose disciples from all walks of life, all sorts of mindsets, upbringings, lifestyles and occupations. They were not the best of the best, and they were the ones who had been overlooked. But still, Jesus chose them. Just like He chooses all of us.

Jesus calls us to take up our cross—laying down comfort, ambition, and self-preservation—to follow Him. True life isn’t found in wealth, pleasure, or status, but in surrender. Though costly and confronting, trusting Jesus leads to freedom, joy, and abundant life found only through relationship with Him and the Father.

The return of Jesus that we see referenced throughout the Gospels, calls on all of us, as disciples of Jesus, to live differently in this world.

Paul’s call to be a living sacrifice flows from God’s mercy, not from earning His love. Because we are already loved and forgiven in Christ, our whole lives become worship. As we live Jesus’ way—loving others and offering ourselves daily—we experience more of God and become a living temple where His presence is made known.

Jesus proclaims the “good news” as the arrival of God’s kingdom—an entirely new order breaking into the world. Unlike earthly empires, this kingdom transforms lives through His authority and presence. The Sermon on the Mount teaches its culture, inviting people to live under Jesus’ reign as true King.

James calls believers to not just hear God’s word but live it out. True transformation comes through humbly receiving truth and allowing it to shape our lives. Genuine faith produces action—loving others, especially the vulnerable—showing that following Jesus is more than belief; it is a lived, obedient response to God’s word.
