The Sabbath is God’s special gift to us.

“God blessed the seventh day and made it holy” (Genesis 2:3).

God surrounds me with His gifts of love.

“God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27).

“God is love” is written upon all He made.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).

God can guide our lives just as He guided the Wise Men and Jesus’ parents.

“My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus”

(Philippians 4:19).

Jesus gives me joy and hope.

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests”

(Luke 2:14).

Jesus is God’s special gift to me.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

God’s gifts of love fill me with hope and joy.

“The Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is his name” (Luke 1:49).

I serve God when I help others understand His Word.

“But the Lord said to me, ‘Do not say, “I am too young.” You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you’ ”(Jeremiah 1:7).

I can serve God wherever I am.

“Let your speech always be with grace, . . . that you may know how you ought to answer each one”

(Colossians 4:6, NKJV).

I serve God when I help people in need.

“God . . . : You have given me wisdom and power”

(Daniel 2:23).
