People in God’s family work together.

We serve God when we take care of others.

“Again Jesus said,. . . ‘Do you love me?. . . Take care of my sheep’ ”

(John 21:16).

We serve God when we tell others that Jesus is risen.

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to

all creation’ ”(Mark 16:15).

We serve God when we share His love with others.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that

whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

We can help others carry their burdens.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill

the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).

We show God’s love when we serve others.

“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet”

(John 13:14).

I show others Jesus’ love when I put wrongs right.

“Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor”(Luke 19:8).

Children like me are welcome in God’s family.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these”(Luke 18:16).

God invites everyone to join His family.

“I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners” (Matthew 9:13).
