We worship God when we thank Him for creating our world. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1, NIV).

God hears and answers our prayers according to what is best for us. “Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him” (Acts 12:5, NIV).

I invite others to join God’s family by sharing His love. “ ‘God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right’ ” (Acts 10:34, 35, NIV).

God wants me in His family, even when I fail Him. “ ‘I have prayed for you . . .that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers’ ”(Luke 22:32, NIV).

I want to be with Jesus when He comes back for me. “ ‘This same Jesus . . .will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven’ ” (Acts 1:11, NIV).

I thank Jesus for being willing to suffer for me.“But he was pierced for our transgressions, . . . and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5, NIV).

I thank Jesus for choosing to save me. “ ‘Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done’ ” (Luke 22:42, NIV).

The Sabbath is a day to learn more about God’s love. “ ‘For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath’ ” (Matthew 12:8, NIV).

God’s grace calms my fears. “ ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. . . . Do not be afraid’ ” (John 14:27, NIV).

“Jesus looks for me because I am precious to Him. “ ‘For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost’ ” (Luke 19:10, NIV).
