This week we will explore Paul’s teaching to put off the old self and step into a new way of living as we walk in the way of love.
In this message from Ephesians we will see that all followers are called to be part of the Body, the church of Jesus Christ. Jesus has gifted His people so that together, as we serve in the power of these gifts, we experience unity and maturity. When all parts do their parts the church becomes what God intends her to be.
This week we will explore Paul’s teaching that in Christ we are reconciled to God and others as we are made new in Christ.
In this message we will see that God has skillfully equipped His followers with talents, abilities and gifts of the Holy Spirit to do the good works He has planned for them long ago. If we refuse to be ones who embrace and do the good works God has ordained, then we will wander aimlessly through life missing out on what could have been.
In Ephesians 1 Paul prays for the Christ-follower to have an enlightened awareness. In Ephesians 2 he defines some of this enlightenment by describing the differences between the dead, those who reject Jesus, and the alive, those who have received Jesus. In this message we will look at these differences and conclude with the way of salvation.
This message will kick off our Ephesians series. Our text is Ephesians 1 and a big thought from this text is that the follower of Jesus is the recipient of blessings in Jesus. In this message we will look at some of the ways we are blessed.
This week we will look at how and where we grow in our relationship with Jesus on our discipleship journey.
