We must take the task of discipleship seriously. We need to be reminded that God has called us as Christians, as followers of Jesus - to be engaged in the work of making disciples. Both by being a disciple yourself and discipling others.

The Bible tells us that God is the mighty Creator and owner of everything...so why should we give back to him-- Why is it important to give to your local church-- Because its where I get to train my heart, and invest in what will last forever and where I get to increase my joy the more I let go of the world and make Jesus my treasure.
