Being 'direct' with people is a very important trait and a must if you want to be a good leader and successful business owner.

Communication is key in Business, and sometimes its not just about giving directions or orders, it may mean laying people off or giving them some harsh truths which may be uncomfortable.

Some people can see this as being 'harsh or rude' however the reality is, is that by being honest and direct with people you are actually benefiting them.

Also, saying 'No' to people is another really important trait and one that is very rare amongst people. I myself have struggled with this, as we feel that by saying 'No' we are letting people down or 'looking bad'. whereas the reality is, by not saying no we fall victim to being controlled by others and benefiting no one.
