In the second hour, John and Raheel start the hour talking the horrible floods going on in Baton Rouge. They play the Monday game…”what did you do to piss her off?” for a chance to win a Nothing Bundt Cake. They talk Ryan Lochte and other US swimmers being robbed in Rio after a night out. They address the backlash from fans that Jadeveon Clowney was spotted at a casino when he didn't make the trip to San Fran due to rehab.

Joel Blank is filling in for John Granato on the show today and he opens the first hour with guns blazing against the absent host. The Astros had scored 23 runs in the month, but scored 25 in their doubleheader yesterday against the Twins to break their drought. None of the guys really watched preseason football last night, but does anyone? Joel then gives the rundown of women in the Midwest and what they like to be called. LeBron James will now be making $100 million over the next three years, making him the highest paid player in NBA history. The second hour of the show starts with Astros talk and whether the season will end as a success or a failure. Is it more important to have a better record or a better playoff performance? Joel explains that veteran players want an impact now with player additions, but young players want to add more pieces to a team that is a work in progress. Del restarts the show for Raheel to make sure that he can do it on his own. Raheel finds a story of a Utah police sergeant who is recovering after a subway employee laced his drink with meth. The guys then establish the regional sodas, with Dr. Pepper being a Texas thing. Julia Morales of Root Sports joins the show, but Raheel insists on giving her an Olympic pronunciation of her name. Julia talks about yesterday’s doubleheader and what it was that clicked with the Astros to get them going in the first game. Speaking of resets, Raheel asks which video games Julia would reset when she was growing up. Raheel said he would reset Street Fighter whenever his brother beat him, and Julia played Mario Bros. and Golden Eye. Joel wants Julia to practice her Canadian accent to use on air when the Astros play the Blue Jays this weekend.
