Hour two starts with the talk about the Houston Cougars win against North Texas and explaining the performance of newly appointed QB Clayton Tune. They continue college football talk by discussing this past weekend’s college football games some highs and lows and some highlights.  The guys move on to talk about the Houston Astros how their amazing season. Justin Verlander has been getting better since the 2017 World Series win. They continue to speak about Astros postseason game times and their opinions on postseason pitching rotation. They end today’s show with News of the Weird. 

Today’s show starts with the guys talking about Houston Texans head coach, Bill O’Brian’s horrible play calls and how horrible of a performance he has had so far this season. They discuss the Texans plays they have been making and what the Texans must change in order to win. The guys also talk about how well Whitney Mercilus has been playing and how he has surprised them thus far. They then speak about how amazing Gardner Minshew has been as QB for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen gets knocked out by a helmet to helmet hit by Patriots CB Jonathan Jones. John, Raheel, and Del speak about this past weekend’s college football games some highs and lows and some highlights.    

To start the second hour Patti Smith joins the show to announce who will be inducted to the Houston Hall of Fame. After the guys talk about Houston Texans and Deshaun Watson and also who are the best QBs in the league at the moment and where he ranks amongst them. Its throw shade Thursdays and the guys and callers throw shade. News of the weird to end the show. 

John and Lance (no Raheel) and Del start the show talking college football and players that have good value to them and Lance talks the about Zack Greinke almost throwing a no-hitter and how he’s a very superstitious person. After the guys go in and discuss recent comments from Delanie Walker about how the locker room changed also the story of Tua Tagovailoa and how he almost transferred to USC and the Carolina Panthers. After the guys talk the Houston Astros and Carlos Correa. To finish off the first hour the guys discuss the top QB Prospects in the NCAA and Troy Aikman. 

The guys start the second hour of the show discussing the off-field drama with the Iowa-Iowa State game, Mike Gundy’s mullet and more of last week’s college football action. Next, they react to James Harden saying he “became a man” at the Arizona State dorms and break down Alex Bregman’s chances at winning AL MVP. Then they discuss the issues the Astros could have with re-signing Gerrit Cole and if the Astros should celebrate after winning the AL West. Finally, they wrap things up with News of the Weird. 

With AJ joining the fray with Raheel still out, the guys continue yesterday’s discussion of who the most athletic hosts at the station are. Then they react to the latest Boston Dynamics video and ponder the future robot rebellion. Next, they talk about which of the young stars the Astros should resign and discuss Astros postseason bets.
