Basically we live in a goal driven society.

Under those circumstances we move from task to task.

Even more we do so without question.

So imagine the frustration when we’re confronted with a situation that requires patience.

Or further completely letting go.

When we do this all of the sudden we become open to experiences that can transform and enlighten.

These days for many travel is a series of points on an agenda.

Once you complete one task you move to the next.

And so on.

On the other hand if you throw the agenda away the flow brings sublime experiences.

In fact I have to be shown this again and again by forces beyond my control.

And so it is in the Grand Canyon…

When you have a breakdown that requires patience to fix.

Altogether I am a goal driven…

With an intensity to match.

So when confronted with a situation that requires me to pause…

It’s a challenge..

All in all I am grateful because I am marooned in the most beautiful place.

The Grand Canyon.

Furthermore I have had ample time to take in as much as I want in this amazing place.

Finally we nomads put our vehicles under tremendous stress.

We never seem to notice we put ourselves under stress in addition.

Every now and then the Universe says stop.

Certainly we may not want to stop.

However when we do…

An amazing experience often awaits.

It’s analogous to life too.

For example how many times do we miss details or experiences because we’re ‘just too busy’.

In short another lesson travel teaches.
