Heath Brown was a pleasure to talk and we had a pleasant surprise with Lindsey joining the pod. Heath will have a website soon and is in the process of setting up a 501c for a destination for the information and training needed to get involved. There is a "uncomfortable silence" in the beginning when we were getting Lindsey on the call. Heath figured it out so many thanks to Heath and Lindsey for a great conversation.
Mark Harrison is the owner of Omnivores Homestead and Quivers. His talents lie in making a business and a life all his own for him and his lovely wife and daughter. The audio on this one is rough but well worth a listen. The call did drop at one point and once we resumed we got on a roll. Check out his website at omnivoresquivers.com. This pitiful excuse for a podcast is brought to you by me and gvarchery.com.
This one got a little rowdy at times and is not safe for work or in polite company.
Join us today as Shane and I discuss some basic needs for your individual first aid kit for backpacking, backpack hunting or just a long day hike. When these guys talk about their profession I listen and take notes. When I thought about this I call my brother who besides being an 18Delta SO medic is a AMA board certified PA and has a vast knowledge about medical and trauma care.
For a young guy Mike has a lot of experience guiding Elk, Bear, Pronghorn and Cous Deer. We talk about our experience with multiple brands but keep in mind these are our takes on how these boots fit our feet and should not discourage anyone from trying these brands at all, we're all built a little different and shoe manufacturers try to fit the majority of their clientele, not everyone. Thanks for listening, give us whatever rating we deserve and visit gvarchery.com if you need some help with equipment.
I have known Jim for several years and he has always been someone that you know if you ask for his advice your going to get some good information and probably a great story with it. Jim has been very involved with a couple notable archery clubs and is a wealth of knowledge that has been born out of decades of trial and error with a lot of success in the field.
I was joined by Mike Daniels who apparently went mute during this pod but found his voice every now and then as well as Will Miccio (my brother from a shorter mother). We had gotten up early to go shoot before the 102 degree temps arrived and as usual had a lot to say during shooting and sat down to record some thoughts afterwards. Enjoy the pod.
This was a fun podcast and the first of many more I hope. I was joined by Mike Daniels and my new friend Jeremy Montoya from New Mexico. We basically rambled and didn't cover anything specifically it turned out that we had a great time doing the podcast and worked well together during MAF on the next day. Good friends, good food and good shooting. Enjoy.
