We were created in the image of God to work hard, in all things, for His glory.

May we be a people who pray for Jesus' message to spread rapidly and for deliverance from evil in the process. Beyond this, we need to rest in the confidence in who He is and what He can do.

We cannot be solely self-reliant on understanding that we acquire in our own strength from this world. No matter what knowledge we consume, what emotions we feel, or how 'spiritually' we govern ourselves, we need the power of the Holy Spirit to be the guiding force in our lives.

We have been promised freedom from even the sting of death when we lean into the truth of who God is and who we are in Him.

The day of the Lord’s return is coming where all the evil in this world will be put to rest; the punishment for sin is death and Jesus came so that no one may perish but have eternal life through Him. Do you know Jesus? If you know Him, are you obeying what He asks of you?

Are the hard things in life going to grow you or destroy you? Ask God to show you where He is in your suffering; He is working all the angles to grow you in character.

Hard times reveal the weaknesses where we have misplaced our faith and trust; God redeems our suffering by using our weakness to strengthen us in Him and promises us grace and peace in the process.

Pride is a spiritual blind spot; it will stop us from doing what God wants us to do and it limits our dependence on Him. Humility is a posture of open and willing hands to receive God’s grace, mercy, and direction in every area of our life.

The key ingredient to any successful relationship is communication; prayer is the number one way we have been called and invited to communicate with our Heavenly Father who loves us. He created us to be in relationship with Him and to pray to Him on all occasions, in all circumstances. How can you up your prayer life in both solitude and in solidarity with others?

Fasting expresses our longing for Jesus' return and our desire to be with Him above anything else; in the process, we trade physical weakness for spiritual strength.
