While sitting around a fire we discussed:

- balance of fine art versus commercial arts

- being in a small town

- the pressure of being a fine artist

- choosing to not be an artist in New York City

- the choice to be a commercial artist

- working with clients

- never put anything you do not love in front of a client

- working through a creative rut

- stock photography

- technical skills are great but being able to express ideas is better
