In this Episode of the Grasping Life Podcast it was my absolute pleasure to speak with Mark Carleton.

Mark has worked for Liberty Media since 2003, John Malone’s Mass Media Company, notably owning Sirius XM, The Atlanta Braves, Live Nation, and Formula One among others. Mark recently retired from his role as CFO and is now a Senior Business Consultant where he is even more involved in the companies Liberty Media owns.

During the podcast, Mark and I discuss his many years of experience and wisdom in the business world, how he got to where he is, an inside look at Liberty Media, effectively managing teams, prioritizing his time and much more.

As someone in the Finance world, Mark is truly someone I look up to. I learned so much from this conversation, and I believe his principles are universal.

In this episode, it was my pleasure to record Sabrina Bailey - SVP and Head of Digital Investment Advice for Northern Trust Asset Management, a firm with more than $1.0Tn is Assets Under Management that has been around for over 120 years.

As I've gotten to know Sabrina, I'm blown away by her authentic and genuine leadership style that has already had her recognized as a Distinguished Woman Investment Professional of the year by Women Investment Professionals in 2017 and a "40 under 40" by Crain’s Chicago Business in 2016.

We discuss everything from building a successful career, leadership styles, time outside of work, being involved in non-profits and much more.
