Christians believe that Jesus Christ is God, Lord and our Brother.

What do Christians mean when we say, "I believe in God the Father almighty creator"?

Throughout scripture God reveals that he is personal, he is powerful and he wants to relate to us as a loving Father.

Jesus often broke traditional conventions to reach people with the life-changing love and power of God. His followers are called to follow him in this boundary breaking way of mission.

We often judge based on appearances, but Jesus sees what lies beneath the surface and addresses it. Following Jesus means that we as his disciples care about what he does - sinners being saved by his grace.

In following Jesus, he often leads us into places we'd rather not go and to people we'd rather avoid. But as we go, we see Jesus confronting evil and setting people free from its power.

Jesus' call to follow comes at a cost. Security & comfort and family expectations can often become barriers to discipleship to Jesus. His hard to hear words force disciples to assess whether or not we're truly willing to follow Jesus.
