Christine Zavakos is another college friend I'm extremely grateful to have in my life, and she's one of the few who has been working non-stop as an actress ever since we graduated. She's learned so many life lessons between her travels all over the country, but now she says it's time to slow down! Listen as we both catch up and talk about what we're most grateful for this week and during our unique quarantine experiences.
While Anthony and I went to school together for musical theatre, I am also grateful to have gotten to know his wonderful husband, Adam, over the years. Listen in as we gab about college, Broadway, our current state of affairs, but more importantly--the importance of learning, especially as we get older. In the meantime, here's to another grateful goodnight.
Josh Walker is an extremely talented singer, songwriter, and all-around amazing performer who also happens to be my neighbor. Listen in as we talk about adjusting to this strange new world we're all navigating, and we hope our conversation leads to another grateful goodnight. Sweet dreams, dreamers!
My latest guest, Ryan Birch, and I met last year on a destination birthday in Montreal. A mutual friend of ours turned 30, so a bunch of us rented an AirBnb for the 4th of July weekend and had the time of our lives up in Canada. Ryan and I quickly bonded over our love for Boston, and when I first started doing this podcast, he immediately reached out to me wanting to be a guest as he had recently read all about gratitude and wanted to share with us about what he learned. Take a listen!
Seth and I have been friends since I first moved to New York City over 10 years ago now. He's a composer/lyricist, cabaret extraordinaire, pianist, writer, and even has a podcast of his own--there's nothing creative Seth can't do! Listen in as we talk about what we're grateful for this week, from binge worthy TV shows to checking in with friends.
My best friend in the whole world might be a doctor, but to me she's known as Kitten, which makes me her Poodle. We became friends in high school through our love for the original series of Will & Grace, but we were more like the Jack and Karen of our friend group. I am HONORED to talk to Kitten this week about what she's been grateful for during quarantine, and I hope all of us soon realize that it's time to listen...
Christina Cataldo and I have been friends since college, and if there's someone I'm especially grateful for, it's her. She's taught me so much about my own anxiety, and we both know we can call one another just to vent whenever necessary. Listen as we talk about taking it day by day during quarantine, and the little things that we're grateful for that help get us by.
Trudy Gonzalez and I have worked together for years, but she's referred to Mama Trudy by many for a reason. Listen as she teaches me all about "the gift of time" that this quarantine has given us, and perhaps you'll even here some of your own motherly lessons during our chat. Thanks for listening!
Sadie Portman and I have been friends for years now--roommates even--and she brings up the great point of "giving yourself permission" to be grateful for the little things during quarantine life. Thanks for listening!
