Happy Pride Month everyone! This week, we're comparing the relative merits of Sleeping Beauty (1959) and Fox and the Hound (1981)! Come for our charming voices, stay for analysis of animation, verisimilitude of wildlife, and the deepest (and most educational) dive we've ever done into Pedantry!

This is probably our most contentious episode yet - Beauty and the Beast (1991) vs. Mulan (1997). Where other episodes have explored barley-connected stories, these two are both about driven young women who go to great lengths to take care of their fathers, learning about themselves in the process. These movies have had a STRONG impact on a lot of us growing up, so unpacking their pros and cons has taken a lot. We hope you enjoy!
