The Bracket on a Boat may be over, but we have a couple of lifeboats prepared to discuss some more obscure nautical films. This week we'll be talking about The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) and The Boat that Rocked (2009). Both of these are a bit more inline with the fell good summer aesthetic we wanted for the bracket, so we hope you enjoy them.

Our voyage is finally coming to an end. In the Bracket on a Boat final we will crown a winner, either The Hunt for Red October (1990) or Life of Pi (2012). Which best adheres to our ideas of what a boat movie should be? We also have a few announcements about our next projects so make sure to listen to the very end.

One last episode before the final. This week we have Jaws (1975) versus Life of Pi (2012), both films about large predators at sea. We also get out into the seaweeds with some discussion about the nature of film as an art-form. Listen and enjoy.
