Grave History

Season 2 of Grave History begins with some...well... grave history! In this extra long episode, Teddy takes us through the burial reforms of the 19th century and how London went from overcrowded church graveyards to spacious garden cemeteries like Highgate.

Please be aware there are frank discussions of death, grief, and burial held within.

CW: In this episode we mention the assault of a trans individual in relation to terrible director, David O Russell. It is not discussed in detail but we understand this can be distressing regardless. It is mentioned once and never again.

This was also recorded prior to the discovery of Neil Gaiman and Mark Hamill as terrible people.

Grave History at the Movies is back for part two! In this half, we answer Teddy's questions and discuss animated horror, the Serious Man Cinematic Universe, and why Teddy dislikes Stephen Moffat so much.

Enjoy! See you for season two!

Please welcome episode 18, an interval between "seasons" as we work on writing, recording and editing the next episodes of spooky, macabre history.

Both of your hosts are big horror fans, as you may have worked out from numerous references made throughout the podcast. So, we decided to sit down one dark and stormy evening (in 2022) to dig through our relationships with horror and movies as a whole through a series of homemade questions.

As we talk A LOT, this has been broken into two halves. Part one is out now, and part two will be here next month!

Please enjoy and we look forward to seeing you in our new season of spooky, morbid history!
