We Belong to God. We are the house of God. Are we living like children who belong to the family OR like outsiders striving to become a part? Are we making decisions with the Word of God as our foundation OR are we basing what we believe on our ever-changing culture and a worldly mindset?

God is forever in the redeeming business; He's forever in the restoring business. He's the same yesterday, today and forever and He wants to take what the enemy has meant for evil in your life and turn it into something good. He wants to pick up the broken pieces of your life and put them back together. He wants you to move out of being in that same place day after day as you are a slave to sin and thus living your life in fear and insecurity and He wants to restore to you the joy of your salvation, welcome you back to the family as a son or daughter and throw a party for you every day as He sings your praises in Heaven, waiting for an eternity spent together.

Jesus draws from commonplace agricultural conventions to illustrate his kingdom principles, as one might expect from a teacher sensitive to rural Galilean hearers. Jesus most often told stories about agriculture and the daily life of his common hearers (as in 20:1). Jesus portrays the present as a time of sowing to prepare for the end-time harvest.

Tired of all the perceived does and don’ts? Then be free to live! There is right and there is wrong. But above that choice there is also the choice between life and death. In other words choosing between right and wrong is based on what we know and understand, which means that with my limited knowledge and experience our ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ may not always be right or wrong according to God’s standard of righteousness – the only standard of what is good or bad, right or wrong. We were never meant to live by the “Tree of the knowledge of good and evil” but from “The Tree of Life”! Be free to live life because KING JESUS has freed you to live!
