We need to know how to stand firm in order to remain unmoved by what we see, feel or hear that is contrary to God's will.

We choose to keep the fire in us burning hot by fanning the flame with worshipping, reading the word, praying, and fasting.

Hebrews 6:1-2 lists the elementary teachings (or doctrines) about Christ that the church should know and understand so that the church can press on into maturity.

As Peter had to have his focus on Jesus to walk in faith and get out of the boat, we too need to keep our focus on Jesus in the midst of a storm to be able to walk in victory.

How to keep the fire burning hot to bring God glory!

John 5:26 says, "for as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself." When we accept Jesus, He came to give us life and life abundantly (John 10:10).

Rev. 12:11 says that we "overcame him (the enemy) by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony." As believers, it's important that we find out what the blood of Jesus has done for us, and then testify to the victory you have in Christ.
