Every single part of the Body of Christ is vital and important. We all need each other to accomplish God's will on the earth. We know from scripture that God picks our calling for us, and places us in the Body of Christ according to His own will. There is no alternative path to finding His will apart from His leadership. Therefore, it is vital that we do not assume our calling, or follow our own leadership, but allow Him to grow us up into the calling He has for us.

Hebrews 4:11 says "Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief." In the Old Testament, the Israelites failed to obtain the promised land when God called them because of unbelief. Now, we don't have a physical promised land, but a spiritual one in Christ. Find out how unbelief keeps us from receiving the New Testament promises of God and keeps us in our own labors instead of entering into the promise of rest.

Proverbs 4:23 says "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."

What is working on the inside of our hearts makes a big difference in our Christian walk. What do you give your heart and mind to on a daily basis? We know that God will never change, the truth will never change, and God doesn't play favorites. The difference lies in making our hearts good ground for His Truth.

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" - Jesus

God is an awesome Father - and he wants to build you up out of shortcomings and failure and into a overcoming walk with Him.

Yes, we know that God loves us in spite of our shortcomings, but He also loves us enough to help us change and transform out of those shortcomings. Don't be content to stay as you are when your Father wants to build you up!

In 1 Cor. 2:12-13, Paul states that we have received "the spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God...comparing spiritual things with spiritual." Jesus said the Holy Spirit was sent to "lead and guide us into all truth."
