Hi, and welcome to our podcast, Great Gigs that Changed the World!
We're a father and son team, Adam (44) & Isaac (12), and we spend loads of time watching incredible music concerts on YouTube. We spend so much time talking about these shows, that we thought it would be fun to press the red button and make a podcast about it!
In Episode #6, we talk about a show that defined Grunge music in the early 90's; Nirvana's headline set at the Reading Festival in 1992. Hot off the release of their career defining album Nevermind, the media and newspapers were questioning whether the band was about to split, and rumours were circulating about Kurt Cobain's health. And when he was wheeled onto stage in a wheelchair, it wasn't looking good. But then..... Tune in to find out!
We both really enjoyed making this episode, and hope that you enjoy listening to it too.
If you have any feedback for us, or have any suggestions for iconic music concerts that we should discuss on future episodes, please contact us at [email protected].
And please leave us a review... it only takes two secs but would mean the world to us.
Thanks!
Adam & Isaac
