If something in your life feels off — spiritually, emotionally, relationally — this message is for you. Pastor David Martin opens up Psalm 103 and shows us that getting back into alignment with God isn't complicated. It just requires honesty, a whole heart, and a willingness to come back.
1. "Worship With Your Whole Heart" (Psalm 103:1, Matthew 15:8)
* Spiritual realignment always starts with wholehearted worship, not half-hearted routine
* God pays attention to how we worship — going through the motions isn't enough
* When we bring our whole chest to God, he shows up and begins to realign us from the inside out
2. "Remember What God Has Done" (Psalm 103:2, Joshua 4:6–7)
* Spiritual amnesia is one of the enemy's greatest tools — he exploits our pain to make us forget God's faithfulness
* The miracles and moments of encounter from your past still carry power today
* Remembering God's goodness in the middle of hard circumstances is an act of faith and a weapon against despair
3. "Come Back to God — You're Already Forgiven" (Psalm 103:3, 1 John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 5:19)
* Sin pulls us out of alignment faster than anything else, but it doesn't separate us from our adoption
* Confession means coming back into agreement with what God says — not re-earning your salvation
* The relationship suffers when we sin, not the standing — so just come back to God
4. "Trust God to Be Your Defender" (Psalm 103:6, Romans 12:17–19)
* Sometimes our alignment gets knocked out by people who treat us unjustly — and that's real
* The temptation is to take justice into our own hands, but that path never leads to peace
* God promises to bring justice — our job is to walk in peace, love from a distance when needed, and let him fight for us
5. "Remember the True Character of God" (Psalm 103:8–13)
* When life gets hard, the enemy tries to recharacterize God — making him seem angry, distant, or disappointed
* The real God is compassionate, slow to anger, and filled with unfailing love toward his children
* He has removed your sins as far as the east is from the west — you are not associated with your past anymore
