Greater Prescott Podcast

The Community Pregnancy Center (CPC) is a pro-life Christian ministry that started here in Prescott in 1984. We offer our services to anyone who is pregnant or who have children up through age 5. Our services are available to everyone without discrimination or judgement.

All of our services are free: pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting classes and material items for babies and young children. Parents earn credits by taking parenting classes and then they can use those credits to purchase baby items in our Baby Store. These items include diapers, formula, baby food, clothes, cribs and much more. We also offer post-abortion counseling to help those people who have experienced an abortion to heal from the emotional pain caused as a result of abortion.

CPC is a non-profit 501c3 and qualifies as a Qualifying Charitable Organization for the Arizona state tax credit making all donations tax deductible.

Mark Stafford is a designer, an author, a musician, and the owner of Ablaze Media. He is a graduate of the Arizona Christian University with highest honors. Mark has been working in media development since 1997.

He began his career in media development by serving on the creative staff at multiple organizations including a university, several large non-profits and a radio station that was awarded with the prestigious, “Station of the Year Award,” twice.

He loves music and is an active musician playing bass, guitar, & keyboard. He has served with several professional Christian touring groups and has been nominated for a Dove award.

When he is not designing graphics, you might find him hanging out with his 4 kids, leading a worship team at a local church, or playing jazz at a local venue.

About us

Founding Fathers was birthed through the overwhelming success of John Hancock Barbershop, started by U.S. Army Special Operations veteran Grant Quezada in 2014 upon completing his enlistment and moving back home to Prescott Arizona. Since John Hancock's conception in 2014, it has outgrown two different scale-up locations. The need to grow again was the catalyst that lead Grant to bring on lifelong friend and U.S. Air Force veteran Jesse Burke to join the team and develop the Founding Fathers Collective concept to be a place for all people to come experience and foster community, care and connection. The completed flag-ship of Founding Fathers Collective is a 14,000 square foot warehouse in Prescott’s downtown Entertainment District, the new community center point for downtown with the coming of a new public park, water splash-pad for children, restaurants, and 200 room hotel and the Restoration of Granite Creek Corridor as a 1.5 mile hiking path. Founding Fathers Collective will house seven different companies for the public to enjoy. The tip of the spear is John Hancock's new 11 chair barbershop accompanied by a self serve beer tap room, speak easy, Specialty Coffee shop, men's retail, functional fitness gym, and Jiu-jitsu studio.

Photographer, Bobbi Jane, brings you photographs from the West. 

"I have been surrounded by both photography and the western life since childhood. I was born in Kansas but raised in the rural part of Tucson, Arizona.  I grew up when kids played outside and all our games were made from our imaginations! I loved taking photos as a kid making “pretend” film with paper and putting in my Mom’s Kodak camera when there wasn’t any film. My dogs were my models. My junior year in high school, I dropped out of Algebra II to take Photography. And the rest is truly western history! After high school, I attended Colorado Institute of Art majoring in Photography. Those were still the “film” days and finding a job in a photography related field was slim.  

Nearly 20 years later after a career path in sales and marketing, I launched my own photography business, Way Out West Photography (Est. 2000) I consider my photography style to be “photojournalism” capturing the moment, subject and light as is.

I currently live in Prescott, Arizona.  I have been photographing weddings, people, businesses and events in Prescott since 2008. In the past couple years, it's been very competitive for weddings and events.  I now focus on family storytelling portraits and senior portraits.  

I'm very flexible and funny and that helps to make every shoot stress free and relaxed. I do not shoot "gallery style" photos that are posed and professionally lit. I take photos of people in real life with natural light and showing emotions that make you want to smile. Family Storytelling sessions are about capturing genuine, emotional images of families through meaningful documentary-style portraits that will show your family’s love, emotions and laughs. 

I am still the kid with a camera!  Photography is my passion and part of who I am.  I know have a Nikon that doesn't need film.  Crazy how the times change but really stay the same."

Dr. Kim Harris is the owner and medical director of Prescott Medical Aesthetics. She is a Prescott native and loves living in the Prescott area. She is married and has a 7 year old daughter Lily. Dr. Harris is a graduate of Prescott High School, and  NAU with a bachelor's degrees in education and Spanish. She taught in Peoria, AZ for 3 years before returning to school to become a Naturopathic Doctor. She graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2013. She is passionate about naturopathic medicine and aesthetic medicine and is happy to combine the two at Prescott Medical Aesthetics. 

Dr. Harris loves living in Prescott for many reasons and her family is one of them. She also loves exploring the beautiful outdoors with family and friends. Favorite places include Thumb Butte, the Peavine Trail, Watson Lake, the Highland Center and so much more. She loves attending local events such as the Bluegrass Festival and the open air concerts on the square. Dr. Harris is passionate about Prescott, family, and her business.

About me: I'm originally from New Hampshire and I grew up playing sports of all kinds. I particularly enjoyed soccer, hockey, and lacrosse. I also had a love for aviation, which led me to Prescott, AZ and Embry Riddle to become a pilot. My love for airplanes led me to working at the Prescott Air Tanker Base loading planes with retardant for forest fires. At the same time I was the general manager for Lyzard Lounge in Prescott, where I completely overhauled nearly everything, from accounting to the draft system.  After three years at Lyzards and the Prescott Air Tanker Base, I finally got a job with the USFS.

I've been a wildland firefighter ever since and I love my job. I get to travel all over the US, while at the same time protecting the Prescott National Forest as well. Out of my love for wildland firefighting, I started a business in Greater Prescott called Fuel Break LLC. I named it that because in the forest service that's what we call putting in a line, or a fuel break to stop the fire. My focus is helping residents protect their property with proper FireWise protection. And Fuel Break LLC also helps me stay in shape during the off season.
