The Go To Book on how to Manage Properties!

Here's my suggestion for a Black Friday purchase any of us can LOVE (even if you're a tenant seeking common ground with your landlord):

To my way of thinking The Time-Wealthy-Investor has to be the clearest read tied to principles that might be applied to any undertaking, be it Property Management or Time Management or Life itself. Mark Dolfini got it together after learning lessons the REALLY hard way, he has no trouble laying it down for everyone else quick and easy, and while you might enjoy connecting with Mark it's more about the fine job he did to simply and clearly provide value for his audience so we might own this stuff too!

I wish every book of this type tied up business ideas with clear philosophies in the way The Time-Wealthy Investor does.

This is the book I wish I had 15 years ago.

When I started investing in rental property in 2002, this is the book I wish I had been able to read. I read through all the "How to Buy" and "How to get rich" books and programs but this one gives you the nuts and bolts of running a successful rental property business. If this book had been available back then I would not have made anywhere near the number of mistakes I have in the past 15 years. If you want to invest please read this first for a pragmatic look into the business of being a landlord. I highly recommend it for both new investors and people who may feel overwhelmed when managing their rentals.

As well as the audio copy, I have purchased the paperback copy and I have to say I prefer the audio version. I play it in my car and it has given me many ideas of improving my business. Its clear and easy to digest. Also funny and complete honesty that other business books do not do.

couldn't get past the intro, unbearable narration

honestly I've listened to some monotone narrations. while it might cause some to lose focus (usually not me), slow narration that doesn't inflect on punctuation correctly it's much worse. I wasn't able to even get through the intro. wow. can't comment on quality of the content which is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to it.

Once again this was a very brief overview. Not in depth does leave out info such as security, monitoring, etc.

Very well summarized

Very well summarized responses to design pattern questions. Of course you must at the least be familiar with the object oriented concepts, but, this book will help you maximize the concept of typical design pattern a company will ask you. You must be able to answer these questions. Some candidates fail because lack of knowledge while some fail because they do not find the right way to approach the problem. This book provides valuable ways to fix both problems. Try it!

Overall good

Overall, this book is a great read for anybody that manages, or aspires to manage, a team of humans (regardless of the System Design). It is also a book that you can circle back to time and again to gauge the success of both yourself and your team, so I will most definitely be keeping it on my desk as a manual to remind myself of what needs to be done to successfully, and consistently, grow, manage, and lead a successful team.

This is the book exactly what I'm looking for reference. It provide a reliable and easy to understand strategy to approach system design questions.

Of silver bullets and secret sauce.... It's not a problem without a solution most simply don't have the will to make the way. This is a realistic treatise that provides the why and how. Great quick listen....

A must read for every Business Owner and CEO alike!

I sailed through Great CEOs are Lazy in one day! It was like attending a valuable two-day seminar without ever leaving home. The book is a common sense guide that forces the CEO to re-evaluate where the focus on their business should be. With plenty of A-ha moments throughout, Jim packs the book full of useful information he has developed over the years, paired with wisdom from top leadership authors. Personally, I could have used more examples that highlighted the service industry, and although our company is smaller in scale than the high growth companies referenced, the concepts still apply. I definitely was wearing my Learner Hat throughout. A great book from a first-time author!

Lazy CEO or Just Smart?
