Publisher's Summary:

History of Research & Investigation

"Religion would wander badly unless it had the technology of the human spirit. That would be the vital thing to have for religion to become a practical, everyday thing." (L. Ron Hubbard)

Today weapons exist powerful enough to annihilate whole nations. And violence has become commonplace, often in disregard of human life. Why has there been such a lessening of moral responsibility and, most important, what can be done about it?

In providing the answers to these questions, Ron explores the history of Man's research and investigation in the field of the human spirit. As he details many remarkable phenomena familiar in past ages, yet unknown to most people today, what emerges is that as mechanical technologies became ascendant, nothing parallel emerged to bring religion into the realm of day-to-day application. In consequence, modern studies ultimately came to deny the spirit entirely, instead treating the individual as a mere stimulus-response mechanism without conscience or value.

Thus, the arrival of Scientology means everything for both the individual and Mankind, for here is the first religion which, by application of an actual technology, provides anyone with workable answers he can use on a daily basis in his own life. By this technology, IQ rises, an individuals power and ability increase, Man can recover his capacity for kindness and decency - and a brighter future is assured.

Title: Menneskets Hb [The Hope of Man] (Danish Edition)

Format: Unabridged

Length: 41 mins

Language: English

Release date: 08-13-13

Publisher's Summary:

From the dawn of time, man has cherished the hope he could achieve a greater freedom. That hope, articulated by the greatest religious leaders across the centuries, has time and again renewed his strength to face the future. But with no practical means to convert hope to reality, the goal of a greater freedom remained, for most, if not all, a distant and unattainable dream. Then, with the onset of the 20th century, came the rapid and unprecedented advance of the physical sciences. Yet, at the same time, these sciences limited their research to the material world, ignoring or even denying the existence of the human soul. Such was the back drop of Ron's 25-year quest to solve the riddle of man. Applying the tools and methodology of 20th-century science to the accumulated knowledge from thousands of years of religious teachings, Ron sought an understanding of exactly who and what man is. Then, in 1952, he arrived at a historic discovery. With demonstrable proofs, rather than mere belief, Ron established that there is indeed an immortal spirit with infinite survival power - an awareness of awareness unit that is the individual himself. Moreover, by these same scientific methods, Ron further discovered that he could trace the life of this awareness of awareness unitlife after life after life. These remarkable discoveries signified no less than the long-sought meeting ground of science and religion. And with that, thousands of years of belief in the field of religion materialized into an actuality which any individual can realize in the here and now. So was born a new religion, the worlds first wholly practical religion - Scientology.

Title: Penge [Money] (Danish Edition)

Author: L. Ron Hubbard

Narrator: uncredited

Format: Unabridged

Length: 1 hr

Language: English

Release date: 08-13-13

Publisher: Bridge Publications, Inc.

Genres: Self Development, Motivation & Inspiration

Publisher's Summary:

Money is, of course, something with which everyone is familiar. But how many people truly understand the role money plays in society? Judging from the duress and anxiety associated with this subject, few people are aware of the real purpose and function of money. Here Ron delineates its proper role in assisting the survival of individuals, groups, and cultures. As he strips away the complexities accumulated over the centuries to prevent anyone outside an "inner sanctum" from really grasping its purpose and function, the entire subject clarifies and focuses. And what becomes clear is that money owes its unsavory reputation not to its use, but to its abuse. Once understood for what it is, money assumes its correct place as but one element - albeit an important one - contributing to individual, organizational, and national survival. Here, then, is an entirely new look, demystifying a subject and commodity that everyone depends upon. And as for what follows from that, listen and see.

Title: Forringelsen af Frihed [The Deterioration of Liberty] (Danish Edition)

Author: L. Ron Hubbard

Narrator: uncredited

Format: Unabridged

Length: 55 mins

Language: English

Release date: 08-13-13

Publisher: Bridge Publications, Inc.

Genres: Self Development, Motivation & Inspiration

Publisher's Summary:

"I admit that some man occasionally will become afraid and will become totally gripped by the belief that there is menace in every fellow man. I admit that a human being can become so aberrated as to constitute a menace to the bulk of the society and that in such a case it is necessary to reacquaint him with society. But I will not admit that there is a naturally bad, evil man on Earth." ( L. Ron Hubbard)

The single word "liberty" articulates not only basic rights, such as freedom of speech and religion, but many other vital concepts: opportunity, choice, security and even happiness. Indeed, it is a word that symbolizes the dreams and goals of every human being. Yet it's very power makes it liable to abusive ends entirely opposed to its true meaning. In consequence, both individual and national freedoms can be eroded in a manner that escapes detection. If this deterioration of liberty is not spotted and reversed, a people can lose many of their basic rights and ultimately fail to recognize, and thus arrest, a slide into a police state.

On the hard-won and cherished liberties of nations depends everything its citizens hold most dear. In affirming the basic decency and upholding the fundamental rights of each individual, Ron provides an embracive understanding that vitally concerns all.

Title: Historien om Clearing [The History of Clearing] (Danish Edition)

Author: L. Ron Hubbard

Narrator: uncredited

Format: Unabridged

Length: 59 mins

Language: English

Release date: 08-13-13

Publisher: Bridge Publications, Inc.

Genres: Self Development, Motivation & Inspiration

Publisher's Summary:

Here is a story that begins with Ron's immersion in a deeply spiritual, deeply traditional Asia, where he met and befriended - among other savants - the last of the great magicians whose predecessors served in the court of Mongol emperor Kublai Khan. Yet notwithstanding the feats that testified to remarkable powers, here was a land where wisdom was deemed sacred - so sacred, in fact, these Oriental holy men declined to use their considerable abilities to solve the real and urgent problems of living. Thereafter returning to the United States, Ron encountered Western academia, representing a wholly dissimilar but, in a distinctly contrasting way, equally impractical world. Dominated by physical scientists and concentrated exclusively on the interaction of matter, energy and space, it was a world where the spirit formed no part of the equation. Realizing the answers lay in neither of these irreconcilable schools, Ron embarked on the perilous quest for a way to free the individual from the barriers that deny him happiness. And in recognizing that Man is both a spiritual and a material being, he arrived at the breakthrough discovery from which all else followed. As he recounts the successive milestones along his path of research, what emerges is the monumental scope of an extraordinary victory - one that benefits all Mankind. Here, then, is the record of that victory and the historic achievement of a state never before known in this universe - a state called Clear.
