HIT BY LIGHTNING

SUMMARY: Years ago, two kids, 19 and 14 years old, we hit by lightning on my watch. I was a parasail boat captain. The two kids were up in a parachute, when the wind picked up, and a storm seemed to come out of nowhere. It was a beautiful day on 4th of July weekend, and I would have had my mom and grandma up in the parachute.

Instead, I saw two kids get electrocuted and float down to the water, unconscious, and not breathing.

My partner and I just started our new parasail business watersports out of the Ritz Carlton, in Naples, Florida. It was our first week of business.

The heat from the lightning arched across their bodies, and melted the rope that attached them to the winch on our boat. As we fished their limp bodies out of the water, I thought the were dead.

On today's show, I talk about what happened and what you can do when lightning strikes.

Think about it… What are you going to do when lighting strikes?

Cause it's gonna. I promise you, it's not a question of "if" lightning is going to strike. It's what you're going to do about it when it does. Are you going to give up? Are you going to quit because it's too hard? Or too painful? Or will you fight to keep moving forward?
