The Christmas episode! 

The time of year when you have an episode, and it is Christmas.

 

Much like the first Crush episode, Alan recounts his medical reasons for telling his particular story and its remedy. This research is the axis of the show, the reason for its existence.

 

Many of the day’s cannabis related news items are brought to focus, with heavy reminders about the ‘criminality’ - of using a plant to save your own life, of the police inexplicably at the helm of what is being sold as decriminalization, but which is in fact – a legalese-ation. Instead, how about Norway who are eliminating the punishment system in favour of the treatment system.

 

And we gear up for a six-month slide and fight in Canada into an incorrect system being made, which in truth, needs to be corrected or eliminated, while bringing focus to many other cannabis hotspots around the world who have shown us we can do it a lot better.

Episode 22 shimmers with synergy between Episode number 11 and today’s efforts. A twinning-up – DNA binding together as the official story dwindles. Our guest from Kansas, USA, shares his vast knowledg with the less experienced. The founder of Kansans For Hemp, Kelly Rippel trades in sustainable water development and distribution to school kids, as he similarily educates us with his acquired data of hemp and cannabis by coming to the Green Crush (stage) fore. 

Before that, some year-end thoughts. Lessons of lingering in the outpost at the edge of this/his alleged existence, trigger a reminiscence that fuels a positive, forward thinking mindset. 

As ever, this expression is designed to both provide comfort to those in a similar place, and an indicator of a well meant life becoming possible, when all other means would take away – thanks again to the plant.

 A politician says something stupid… this time also really funny. It looks like Canada’s Cannabis recriminalization laws may not come off on time according to plan and promise, if a couple of right-leaning Tory senators have anything to do with it.

Episode 21 holds perhaps an unknown reason of why it is superior to usher in a renewal of focus, away from our own native country Canada. Out of disappointment for the missed opportunities and suppressed democratic impulses, here begins our perceptive journey of awareness into countries other than the disappointingly regressive Canada.

Episode 20 - A Green Crush turning point… We talk to one of the most prolific cannabis activists Canada has ever seen. Fair enough to say, without the efforts of Jodie Emery and her husband Marc, we may not even be poised to “legalize“ this healthful substance. Getting close to crunch time as far as Canada’s new restrictive, punitive, money-grabbing cannabis laws are concerned, and by that I mean it’s pretty much a done deal despite the facts and official denials.  So on today's "Cops or Truth" segment, we soundscape the lies and manipulations from one of Canada’s most important policeman, Toronto chief Mark Saunders.  He is taken to task for being full of shit. Henceforth, a turning point for Green Crush as we turn away from the nonsense of Canada to focus on more sensible jurisdictions around the world.

Episode 19 we have a scheduled guest! He works within and around the cannabis industry. He has several fantastic products, some of which are delicious… Some of which involve growing. At the last minute our guest had to cancel, under legal recommendation and/or pressure.

Less than 24 hours after Alan told the premier of Ontario face-to-face, that she is going down the wrong track – only to get a ridiculous non-answer… this episode highlights more evidence that the people creating lie-filled laws, cause the majority of people to avoid publicly proffering one of the most powerful health breakthroughs in the history of our species.  All of this, a taxpayer funded mission to avoid maximum health potential and a democratically burgeoning economy.

This surprise episode of covering several topics – to make up for our missing guest - fingers some of the illegal and suspect activity of our supposed leaders, leading us away, from a democratically preferred health alternative. They subtract facts, add cow pat, and stir – people to think their fiction is the real deal.  This must end, or Green Crush might.

Episode 18 Commanding. So far Canada has foot in its mouth and the other in a beartrap of stupidity, regarding its pending legislation proposal designed to further restrict proper cannabis aspect. 

But it seems other countries around the world might doing it properly. Is Ireland one of them? We’ll see.

Irishman Stephen Kelly - representing activist Internet presence, “It Makes Sense“, tells us of Ireland's very difficult relationship with legalizing cannabis – the last presentation of such a bill was roundly mocked, the politician who brought it forth was much criticized for doing so. 

The newest bill is now working its way through Irish Parliament and so far the signs are good. We will be keeping in touch with the situation.

Canadian Ross Rebagliati is the world's first ever snowboarder gold-medal Olympian, taking home the gold at Nagano, Japan Winter Games, 1998. While snowboarding was in his blood, apparently so was the substance known as cannabis. This was a very terrible thing according to the authorities. Even though in 1998 cannabis was not on the list of IOC banned athletic substances. But they took his gold away from him anyway. When he got his gold back, he got his future. Our guest, Dawn Mcilmoyle is a former member of Canada's Navy and MST survivor. What is MST? Military Sexual Trauma… an American term that Canadian Military sufferers also use. And if they're naming it as a phenomenon, you know it's something that shouldn't be happening.
