Yet again the Eagles have shot themselves in the foot as they fall to the now No. 24 SMU Mustangs in Dallas. Tune in as I break down exactly what happened, and why it is unacceptable for a Power 4 program to be operating this way. Mason McKenzie had his best game yet, and Ted Roof’s defense finally started clicking, but it still wasn’t enough to hold off SMU. As we enter a much needed bye week, I break down what comes next in what could be another very long season.

As BC drops their first ACC contest of the season, Alden Hunold rejoins the Greenline Gazette Podcast to discuss why despite having multiple players performing at the highest level in the conference, the Eagles are still 2–2. Tune in for the full episode to discuss how BC could potentially upset the Mustangs this weekend in Dallas as they prepare for yet another rainy, and cold game.

In what can only be described as a disaster for Boston College, the Eagles beat the University of Maine Black Bears 22–16 Saturday afternoon at Alumni Stadium, despite being -38.5 point betting favorites.
