This week Howie will be joined by Rafael, a Puerto Rican historian and sociologist who is currently an elected member of the Puerto Rico Senate representing the left-wing Citizen’s Victory Movement. He was the candidate for governor for the Working People's Party of Puerto Rico in 2012 and 2016.
Howie and Rafael will talk about ecosocialism and socialist internationalism with respect Ukraine and its prospects for a green post-war reconstruction in the face of neoliberal planning for it by the EU and Puerto Rico and its prospects for post-Hurricane reconstruction in Puerto Rico in the face of neoliberal policies imposed by the US.
