  • A New Year-2023! What Are Some Easy Ways You Can Enhance Your Life And Feel Good?

What are some easy ways to enhance your life? If you make small, specific choices regarding healthy eating, or introducing green living tips and hacks, to taking care of yourself, you are more likely to keep it going. One great self-care tip is to start a meditation practice to connect to your higher self and start your day off in a positive direction. Resolutions can sometimes feel like there is something wrong with us, that we need to change. Let's reposition that mindset and enhance who we already are and what we already have. If it's eating healthier, as an example, make a small goal, so you're more likely to keep it. Habits can be a challenge to break, so small steps forward can help keep you on that path. Green living can be overwhelming when just starting. Pick one thing or area to learn about. The most important part I wanted to convey was take care of you. You are the person you're waiting for. Starting a meditation practice and reading inspirational stories ground me, and allow ideas and calmness to come through. If you do give it a try, please let me know. I'd love to hear how a practice is helping you. Namaste.

  • Sustainable Fashion vs Responsible Fashion with LA Relaxed Creative Director Claire Hoppe

If you could buy clothing made from materials that are locally and thoughtfully sourced, made from truly sustainable materials and fabrics, pay workers a living wage, while also being domestically made, would you? You can.
LA Relaxed was founded on the basis of sustainability and ethics at all stages of the design and manufacturing process.
Where and how the garments are made is also vitally important to LA Relaxed.
What do you look for when buying a new piece of clothing?
Today I talk with Claire Hoppe, the Creative Director of LA Relaxed. This luxury, comfort brand takes great care in bringing you responsible fashion, right down to the packaging it's shipped in. It's designed under one roof in Los Angeles. They measure in footsteps, not a footprint, and assemble each garment in under 100 steps. How cool is that? I know you will love them as much as I do.

  • My Eco Friendly Gift Ideas To Green Your Holiday and Shop More Sustainably

I enjoy gift giving and the holidays are the best time to share some of my favorite products by giving them as gifts. There are also ideas where experiences can be more fun than a physical gift and the memory will last a lifetime. We can still keep the the joy of gift giving while being mindful of the gifts we give. If we are going to shop, let's champion the brands that support our values with sustainability, social impact and care about us and the environment when it comes to ingredients and materials used. I love that now more than ever there are so many wonderful small businesses to support. Let's move toward sustainable and value-based holiday shopping with responsible retailers that #ChooseToCare
Here are the companies I mention. If you have questions reach out from my site or DM me on Instagram.
I do not make any money from these suggestions (although I should) These are brands that I use, love and support.
