Overview:

The 2023 Honda Super Cub C125 ABS continues to be a symbol of style and practicality, with over 100 million units sold worldwide since its inception in 1958. It is available for $3,849 and is a part of Honda’s miniMOTO lineup, offering an efficient option for urban commuting.

Engine & Performance:

The Super Cub is powered by a 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine, producing 7.2 kW of power at 7,500 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. It features PGM-FI electronic fuel injection and fully transistorized ignition.

Design & Features:

The Super Cub C125 ABS maintains its classic design with modern enhancements like LED lighting, LCD instrumentation, front-wheel ABS, and an electric starter. It has a step-through design and a pocket on the right side for storage. The Honda Smart Key controls the vehicle theft deterrent and allows electronic locking of the seat.

Transmission & Handling:

It has a 4-speed rotary transmission operated via an automatic centrifugal clutch. The vehicle features a tubular steel "backbone" frame and has telescopic front suspension and twin shock rear suspension. It has 17-inch die-cast aluminum wheels designed for tubeless tires.

Historical Significance:

The Super Cub has played a pivotal role in changing perceptions about motorcycles and mobility, offering a friendly and inexpensive model. It has been produced in 16 factories across 15 different countries and has sold in 160 different countries. It was awarded a 3D trademark registration by the Japanese Patent Office in 2014.

Availability:

The 2023 models of the Super Cub and the Monkey are available starting this month. The Super Cub is available in Pearl Gray colorway.
