We all have big dreams, goals, and plans. Often what determines whether or not we fulfill them is how much suffering we’re willing to endure to get there. Passion is what kicks in when enthusiasm wanes. Jeremiah 19:14-20:9.

So much of our individual identity is tied to the communities we are part of. Galatians 3:23-29. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23.

We introduce a new series that is centered around responses we received on a giant interactive chalkboard we placed outside our building with the prompt, “If you really knew me, you would know ___________.” In part one, we talk about how we interact with our past. Acts 4:8-13.

It’s offensive to Jesus when we’re “all leaves, no fruit.” He comes after our heart of hypocrisy. Mark 11:12-21. Luke 13:6-9.

Good vibes only doesn’t work. So, what do we do when we feel guilt? We can read it as either conviction or shame. One is good and helpful for growth, the other is crippling. 2 Corinthians 7:8-10. John 8:1-11. Romans 8:1-2, 15.

Sometimes it’s our “Plan B” that keeps us from being part of the amazing things God has for us. 1 Kings 19:19-21. Hebrews 12:1-3.
