This morning on the Greg and Dan Show, Dave Johnson came in to tell us about a new AI software used in the healthcare industry, and some of the potential issues that the program could cause.

OpenAI has been developing an AI transcription system called Whisper. By using a massive large language model to train the AI that consisted of free YouTube videos many people have noticed that the AI will predict mistakenly that they would say something that you would hear in a YouTube video. Dave also shares some more in-depth details about the AI.

This morning on The Greg and Dan Show, Joe Couri from the Itoo Society came to visit.

This Saturday and Sunday is the 97th annual Itoo Supper at the Itoo Hall on Farmington Road. The society and event is part of a long and continuous tradition of celebrating the Lebanese community and culture in Peoria, Illinois. This Saturday is their drive-thru dinner from 3-6 pm, and on Sunday from 11 am-5 pm is their sit down meal.

This morning on The Greg and Dan Show, Debbie Gaught from the Illinois Valley Fuller Center for Veterans gave us a call.

Fuller Center for Veterans helps veterans through free home repairs and maintenance for veterans and their widows. This Saturday, from 4-7 pm at the Elks Club next to the Madison Golf Course they will be hosting a spaghetti dinner event, with trivia and games. The event doesn't require tickets but is through donations to help support the Fuller Center and all the great work that they do for our veterans.

This morning on The Greg and Dan Show, the City Manager for the City of Peoria Mr. Patrick Urich called us to update us on the new budget for the city.

After a 4-hour public hearing, Peoria decided on a 282 million dollar budget. In this interview, Mr. Urich informs us how this money is being spent, the discussion surrounding their property tax decision, sources of money for the city, and much more.
