Greg and Dan talk to Stan Cohen, chair of Peoria’s campaign, and Matt Deverman, co-chair of Pekin’s campaign, about the Salvation Army’s annual Tree of Lights Campaign, a holiday tradition dedicated to supporting families and individuals in need across our communities.
Stan and Matt share why they became involved and how eye-opening it has been to see the tremendous impact the Salvation Army makes locally. The campaign serves as a powerful and visible reminder that the need continues to grow and that every dollar makes a difference, with all funds staying right here in Central Illinois.
This year’s fundraising goals are $2,000,000 for Peoria and $200,000 for Pekin, and volunteers are always needed, especially with the evolving needs across both communities.
