Greg and Dan discuss the Dream Center of Peoria with Andy King, but also with the NEW teenage band that is helping raise money for our local facility. The band is named "patchwork", but will be more uniquely known as, "PTCHWRK" as they wanted to express their creative side and be different.
The Dream Center's purpose is to bring students to accomplish their goals and showcase their amazing talents. The idea is to start well and finish well with becoming a writer/musician/performer.
The band members are: Jake, Annabelle, Samantha, Christian, and Allister. Their idea for their name came to play when realizing that all of them are "spread out" from each other and don't live nearby, making it "patchwork" that they perform together now and enjoying being a band together. Their main genres are classical rock and sometimes emo rock. They enjoy the Dream Center as it is a place for musicians to become themselves, much the case how these young people found their way. Kids helping kids!
You can hear this upcoming band perform on Sunday June 29th, from 2-7 at OZ'Z Bar and Grill in Creve Coeur, IL, about 10 minutes from Peoria!
