Listen Later

In this episode of “How Do You Say That?!” sponsored by britishvoiceover.co.uk, Gregory Dwyer joins Sam and Mark to talk about re-imagining really well known characters, voicing works that are out-of-copyright, a booth within a booth, and we herd some chickens with a Fox!

Our VO question this week is all about Project Gutenberg - and how it could help your career no end!

Script 1

You don’t need a watch winder - you need a Fox.

Handmade

Precise

And, just like your automatic watch, unique.

Because only a Fox can be set just right to give your watch the perfect wind, in whichever direction it desires.... one precision instrument for another.

Isn’t that just fantastic?

So.. if you have an automatic watch and you really, truly care for it.

Don’t get a watch winder. Get a Fox.

Script 2

“Hallo!” said Pooh.

“Hallo!” said Tigger. “I’ve found somebody just like me. I thought I was the only one of them.”

Pooh got out of bed, and began to explain what a looking glass was, but just as he was getting to the interesting part,Tigger said: “Excuse me a moment, but there’s something climbing up your table,” and with one loud Worraworraworraworraworra, he jumped at the end of the tablecloth, pulled it to the ground, wrapped himself up in it three times, rolled to the other end of the room, and, after a terrible struggle, got his head into the daylight again, and said cheerfully: “Have I won?”
