Video done as a test really to see if I could film something but make decent recording and sync them together.

But it also shows that I can play something live and so shouldn't keep bottling the EMOM nights... 😉

A rather melancholy piece that I wrote while feeling a bit disconnected from things when I was working in Australia.

Every so often I write a song with words and singing and stuff. I'm never really quite sure what to do with them, as they don't really 'fit' with what I'm putting out and I'm never quite 100% happy with the songs.

This is one of the better ones. I thought I'd take a break from writing new stuff and was trawling old folder when I came across it, and I thought I'd pop it on here just for shits & giggles 😉

My original list of possible tracks for the album had a long tune based on a field recording of my commute on the Adelaide Metro from when I worked in South Australia for a while. I wasn’t comfortable with how it sat in the track listing, so pulled it (The track has since been released as part of an EP I put out in august 2022 - you can find that here on Bandcamp at https://gribbles.bandcamp.com/album/australia-ep-1-adelaide ). But I liked the idea of having a train song.
