In the final part of our series exploring Warhammer 40K's Copper Age we do go deep into the historical parts of the Emperor's memory as presented to Ra during the novel Master of Mankind written by Aaron Dembski-Bowden. We compare what was written in the novel to the historical reality of that time and place as we understand it today. We over analyze and nerd out on the hard work and amazing planning and detail Aaron Dembski-Bowden went into researching what amounts to just a few paragraphs in this wonderful novel.

In Part 2 of this series exploring the Copper Age of Warhammer 40K's Emperor of Mankind, we take a larger look at the historical world of the Copper Age, climate, major events, and the birth of civilization. We explore the Varna culture who was just North West of Anatolia, and beginnings of Mesopotamia known as the Uruk Period. We review the birth of large scale warfare, the birth of city states and how they enable the expansion of slavery, science, art, and religion.

In Part 1 of our series exploring the Copper Age of Warhammer 40K we live through a fictional retelling of the last days of Otsi, who was a Copper Age shepherd in the Italian Alps in order to understand the complex realities of life in the Copper Age. This episode draws on our known evidence for a real life Copper Age shepherd who was found frozen in the Alps and so well preserved we even know his last meal before he died.
