Grimdark Tales

In this huuuuge episode, we are joined by the incredible Noel, a veteran of several other 40K channels and an absolute boss to be joining us today! in a new segment we're calling Fluff For the Fluff God!, we go on a deep dive of the lore and narrative of an army, as well as how the rules tie into that narrative. In this first episode Noel and Erik discuss the Tau Empire. Enjoy!

In this beefy and unprecedented LTT! episode, we are joined by our very first fan, Jesse, as we discuss the mutual love that we have for the Admech ruststalker, as well as some glaring shortcomings to its in-game functionality

In this Let's Talk Tactics! episode, we try and fail to shorten our rants to 15-30 minutes, instead landing on about an hour of foolishness! This time around we focus in on the Fast Attack options available to the regiments of the Astra Militarum. Perhaps oft less considered? Perhaps underrated? You can be the judge!

In this absolute unit of a Let's Talk Tactics! segment, Erik and Jordan discuss the function of troops choices for all factions, and why the backbones of these interstellar monolithic forces are so often reduced to a quick command points grab in this modern day and age.

In this episode we discuss some rumors and confirmed teases of the upcoming Chapter Approved 2018, and Jordan buys his tickets to Rant Town!

In this episode, part of a hopefully recurring segment, we discuss the pros and cons of a particular unit we are interested in! Today it's the Astra Militarum Valkryie that we've given a close examination.

In this absurd episode, Erik does his best to explain to his girlfriend Sadie how to go about playing a game of Warhammer 40,000! This was recorded in a car and is also fairly inconsequential for anything other than a chuckle, but if that interests you feel free to check it out!

In this somewhat meandering episode, we discuss framework of the upcoming narrative campaign for Grimdark Tales, and take a cursory dive into the forces of the Imperium that will be involved in the crusade to retake the sector!

In this companion episode we discuss the changes brought to us in the first Kill Team FAQ since its release, as well as a messy but heartfelt shoutout to our incredible early supporters!

In this episode we discuss the changes, big and small, brought on by the second big FAQ drop from GW this year, and how we think it will affect the game for better or for worse moving forward.
