Welcome back to the show. We're glad to see you again, and to show it, we have two unusual films up for discussion.
Valet Girls | Directed by Rafal Zielinski
A young girl who aspires to a singing career gets herself and her best friend a job as valet parking girls at a Malibu party to meet people who can help them achieve their dreams. Sounds like the typical 80s sex-comedy setup, but is there more lurking beneath the surface of this film?
Love on Delivery | Directed by Lee Lik-Chi
Ho Kam-An is a lovestruck dim sum delivery boy who falls for a beautiful judo student. After being humiliated by the judo instructor, Ho Kam-An seeks the services of an aging master who teaches him a half-assed style of kung fu. Think Karate Kid, combined with the insane dialogue/stunts/twists you've come to love from Stephen Chow.
