This episode's guest is a film-maker who moved to Binghamton as a teenager and someone who I personally quickly became life-long friends with. From BMX Videos filmed on low-end handycams to advertising to full-on documentary productions, Jon Walley has found his voice through film and sound. He was in town for the final filming day for his new documentary Contact back in August and we got to connect and record this episode. Tim Hankins is a St Louis local; owner of both Tim's Pre-Owned BMX Shop and Capital BMX Brand; and soon-to-be host of street jams in all 50 US states while living out of a bus. Tim addresses some negativity surrounding himself and his jam series and then discusses his desire to push beyond being "cancelled" and to complete the jam tour before settling back into St Louis to pursue the next chapter in his BMX journey: a brick and mortar storefront.

The Bitch Cranks Anonymous crew has a new full-length premiering at Breaking Free Skatepark on January 27, 2024 at 10:00 PM EST. Listen in about some of the challenges with filming a full length for your scene and maybe why you should pick up a camera and make one too!

This podcast was recorded over two discussions about nine months apart. It's a long one, but worth the listen if you have any manufacturing, machining, and other industry-based interests.
