GRIT went on location to Mesa, Arizona, for the p1440 Elite Development Summit, where athletes, coaches, and industry leaders came together to help shape the future of beach volleyball.

Hosted by Victoria Dennis, this episode takes you inside one of the premier development events in the sport. Victoria sat down with p1440 coaches and athletes to learn what makes the program unique and how it's helping develop the next generation of beach volleyball players both on and off the sand.

Beyond technical skills and competition, p1440 is committed to developing the whole athlete. Participants gain exposure to leadership training, mental performance coaching, recovery strategies, nutrition education, recruiting guidance, and opportunities to connect with coaches and peers from across the country.

During the summit, Victoria also led a media training workshop, helping athletes develop confidence and communication skills in front of the camera. The following day, those athletes put their training into practice during professional interviews with Victoria and the GRIT production crew.

In this episode, we explore how p1440 is helping athletes navigate the increasingly competitive landscape of beach volleyball, creating pathways from youth development to college recruiting and beyond.
