Head football coach Bobby Hauck joins us on the GFP this week. With two spring games on the horizon for Grizzly Football there were plenty of topics to talk about. Bobby reflects a little on the spring so far and talks about how the spring games came together. The group also has a discussion about the Quarterback Club and how QB Club supports the football program. We quiz Bobby on if he knows where the Paris of the Hi-Line is, have him field a few “fan” questions, and talk about his journey in football coaching.
The Montana Grizzlies and Lady Griz basketball seasons came to an end in the Big Sky Conference tournament. The men’s team built some momentum with two wins, including an upset win of Weber State. While the Lady Griz suffered another challenging first round loss to a 2 win Sacramento State team. We break down our final thoughts and we look ahead to our expectations for both teams moving forward. What can the men’s team do to keep momentum going, and what will the head coaching job look like for the women’s team?
After that we hop over to football, where the Big Sky spring season is about at it’s halfway point. We discuss thoughts and observations from the conference so far. Then we move on to Montana who has returned to practice, reported new player weights, and is getting ready for 2 spring games. The Griz will host Central Washington and Portland State in April and we go though some expectations and players to watch.
Wild week in the FCS and the Big Sky Conference was no different. Griz Fan Pod’s Mike Nugent and the Montana Mint’s Bear Tycoon join Chris Hammond (Tubs At The Club) and AC (Weber State Weekly) to break things down.

With men’s and women’s basketball in full swing the GFP is back at it with guest Colter Nuanez of Skyline Sports and ESPN Radio of Missoula. Should we be freaking out over the men’s start of the season? What does the strong start for the Lady Griz tell us? Will there be a football season? Did Luke forget how to do the intro? We try to tackle these topics and make sure to get to fan questions as well.
