Lightsabers, nursery rhymes, & a Grizzlies W, oh my! After a wild win against the Kings, the show starts with Nate in the dark, & goes off the rails from there. They discuss the bench contributions, Bane finding his groove, & a rough night for Ja. They have some fun with a children's sing-along before going into a Grizz Trivia around three point percentage that would surprise you. That leads them directly into the look ahead to the upcoming game against the Celtics! Grit, Grind, & One Pride!
Ouch! That game was tough. The guys jump in to discuss why the Grizz lost this one, how they lost their composure, and what they think the problem might be. Nate gives his honest assessment on the game and why he was actually encouraged before briefly losing his mind on the officiating (more free throws than minutes is bad btw). They have some fun with that before debuting a new segment, "Where He Play?", and looking ahead to the rest of the month.
WE'RE GOING STREAKING! The Grizz win another one as they take care of business against the Pistons. The guys talk about Marcus Smart's breakout game and the Grizzlies' bench depth before talking about Bane's recent struggles. They talk about LaRavia's play and why they think he's creating some hard decisions for the Grizzlies' staff. They wrap it up with a lookahead to Friday's game and talk what they're thankful for.
Ja Morant return and the Grizzlies take flight. The grizzlies beat the Blazers 123-98. Memphis now has their sights on Detroit as they host them Wednesday in the Grindhouse.
Ethical basketball wins the day! The Grizz make a muc better effort against the Sixers to pull out a victory. Shots were falling, the role guys showed up, and Desmond Bane officially knocked the rust off. The guys go over the keys to the win, and they shoutout guys who have been consistently impressing them. They finish by looking ahead to a revenge game on Saturday.
That was gross!! The Grizz drop the second matchup against the Nuggets, and there were some gross performances. The guys get into what disgusted them...but then also talk about the numerous reasons fans shouldn't panic, and why they think it's easy to overreact to this season after the debacle of last season. All-in-all, it's a great therapy sesh show.
Another late night L...And there was some more angst with this one. The guys talk about the miserable shooting night and the inevitable hiccups that come with the returns from injury. They also discuss the coaching, and while it's not completely to blame for the loss, there are trends that raise concerns. They also make sure to hit on the positives from the night with some players really making strides, and they do some quick Grizz Trivia before looking ahead to Sunday's game.
LATE NIGHTS ARE BACK! The Grizz dropped a tough one against the Lakers, but the guys are optimistic after the loss. Between Jaren, Edey and others, there were a lot of positive takeaways from the night, and the future looks bright. They break down rotation decisions and how that might shake out with guys coming back before breaking down their first ever fan poll! They end with a look ahead to the Warriors game and that game's breakdown.
