In August of 2020 Apple TV released a new show called Ted Lasso. It took the world by storm and chances are, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard of it.

The show features Ted and his trusty sidekick Coach Beard as American Football coaches moving to England to coach football…or as we’d call it, soccer.

Ted is upbeat, polite, and enthusiastic…always finding the best side of everything. It is a breath of fresh air in the midst of an often challenging world.

It was during this same time that Pastor Matthew Titus, who we will meet today, saw something even more in Ted Lasso; a connection to the diving and an entry point into the Bible. He saw so much in fact that he wrote a book about it, The Gospel According to Ted Lasso…Finding God’s love within a show about being out of place, but being in the right place all along. We’ll meet Pastor Matt and hear all about his book in today's show.
