Introduction to the book of ISAIAH - 001

This is the first sermon in the series from the book of Isaiah.

In this episode we will examine the scriptures here in I Timothy 2:8-15, how does the passage give the "behave thyself in the house of God" (I Tim 3:15) as the 'theme' of the letter?  It all ties back into the 'charge' of following the 'will of God' in your life.

Can the man and woman (couple in marriage) become 'bitter' as result of now following your God ordained/called roles in life?

All of this will be explained and expounded upon in the passage.

This weeks episode we are looking into the subject of salvation and what is often referred to by Calvinism as the T.U.L.I.P. theological or doctrines.  What does the "tulip" stand for, well here it is in its acronym format-

T - Total Depravity

U- Unconditional Election

L- Limited Atonement

I- Irresistible Grace

P- Perseverance/Predestination (some will use different terms)

This is part 2 of 3 episodes for the spiritual warfare that has been going on against our Maker before Adam was even created!  When Paul instructs Timothy to "war a good warfare" in 1st Timothy what is he referring to?  I sure hope that you have gone back and listened to some of the previous episodes of this study of 1st Timothy to find out what God is expecting of YOU in this life!  God has a plan and a calling for you if you are saved/born again!

Paul said he was "counted faithful" - are you "faithful"?  Can you teach or train one to be "faithful"?
