Last week, we talked about energy levels, and how it affects a lot of things in our lives.
And yesterday, we have established that energy is directly connected with our emotional state.
Do you ever notice if you are in a bleak state or if you’re feeling all these negative emotions, that you aren’t able to do much?
On the other hand, if you’ve been up so late from a 2-day conference and only had about a couple of hours sleep. The following day you still feel excited and energized to attend day 2 of the conference.
Why is that?
One of you mentioned motivation. Another mentioned, we tend to feed off of others' energy as well.
But behind all that, there is a process that happens.
It is our Thoughts.
All of these influence the way we think.
An amazing psychologist mentioned something to me which I never forgot. He said:
“Your thoughts create emotions.”
And there is a dynamic cycle behind this process.
Remember this:
Your thoughts influence emotions - > Emotions cause us to take actions or inactions -> Actions then become our habits -> Habits determine our relationships and the quality of our lives - > And the quality of our lives influences our thoughts.
And the cycle continues.
So then, if the construct of our life experience is dependent on our energy, and our energy/emotional state is dependent on our thoughts…
Therefore, there ought to be something we can do to influence our life in the direction we desire.
And you can start today by:
I’m going to leave you off with an activity you can start doing in order to take control of your thoughts.
I’ve attached below a pdf worksheet, and I want you to really think about your answers and work on it as honestly as you can be.
Remember…
The difference between a king and a servant is the way they think.
When you master your thoughts, you master your emotions.
Master your actions.
Master your habits.
Master your relationships.
And master your life.
