BYU Faculty Members and Therapists at BYU, Marty Erickson and Michael Buxton, join Natasha on this episode of Mormon Sex Info. They discuss the group therapy they do at BYU for students surrounding sexual concerns. The program follows the “Acceptance and Commitment Therapy” (ACT). CAPS (the department of counseling at BYU) is available for students and they stress confidentiality.   In this episode they talk about the evolution of the therapy, what a group sessions looks like and how they’ve seen the results.   Marty is a part time faculty member at BYU and is the president of the Mormon Mental Health Association. He is a licensed marriage family therapist with a masters and PhD.
